Well?

  • Fantastic! Love it and wouldn't switch if I could!

  • Doing good. Willing to consider better opportunities but happy here

  • Ok. There are definitely better opportunities out there I'd jump at but I'm pretty satisfied now.

  • Not so great. Thinking about looking around for something better.

  • Not good at all. As soon as I can find something in my skill set and pay level I'm gone.

  • Miserable. I'll take a pay reduction and/or work outside my field to get out of this hell-hole.

I do good work at my job and job security is pretty good (just got a positive performance review), but it doesn't pay that much and there isn't much room to move up. Still, I'm not getting my hopes up for anything better. Right now I'd be better off putting my extra efforts toward helping my fiancee find a better job than the bullshit she has now.

Same job (first real job) for 4.5 years. Its pretty sweet. My company was irritating me for a while (reduced vacation time), but then they bumped it back up. So overall happy with the work and happy with the company. I would entertain other possibilities for the right price but in no mood to look. Even though I voted option one, its still a job and i would rather be at home playing games and watching movies.

Overall good. I like my work, I work for a small, friendly company which is pretty easygoing (I set my own hours), I work directly with my uncle which is great, and they treat me well

However I should get paid substantially more. Especially considering I got jewed out of my health ins benefits twice, meaning I'm going 22mos. at least without ins, since I can't afford it on my own. Also, because I don't get paid enough, I can only afford to live with my dad, which I don't mind at all, since it is rent and utility free, but it leaves me with 550 miles/week commute, which means tons of gas and tons of miles on my car

Love my job, hate this assignment. I really need orders to PCS.

I don't have a key, so I can't go there on weekends.
:(

It's pretty much like a hobby, except I'm allocated a higher budget, and they also pay me money to do it.

Sucks.
I've had a job I liked in the past, but never made any money there.
Now I make a lot more money, and I hate my hours (though not always), and pretty much the job itself (though not always)

I also have a decent size commute. 90 mi/day (2-way) Used to be 10 miles per day round trip.

EDIT: I voted miserable... I felt like I was the option above, but I have thought about doing a job in some other field, so I guess that makes me miserable :)

My bosses have made it almost unbearable to work here - and today I have been/still are looking for somewhere else to work.

I really enjoy the work I do but, I really hate working for other people. Management so often makes the wrong decision or, worse, no decision.
