Whats your job?

Bum.
Cant get a job around here.
Illegals have almost all the menial jobs and many decent jobs too.
They've been bringing in Koreans and Indians for most of the tech jobs, so I cant get employed at the places for which I am qualified.

Audio/video editor for a software company that specializes in literacy education.

I also do general IT and hardware stuff around the office.

EMT, occasionally save a life. Most of the time I shuffle old people to/from nursing homes. Private EMS, woo!

mind me asking how the pay is?

Varies with each private company around here. Where I work EMTs start at $8.50/hr, Paramedics $14/hr. Other private EMS operations start EMTs at $9/hr to $10/hr. Compared to other places, where I work the pay sucks. However, we're equipped with better/more gear than any other private EMS setup and most fire departments around here. Our director of ops and medical director really keep us up on the newest stuff and procedures for EMS, that's why I like working where I do. If you can get in at a Fire Dept, you've got it made paywise.
