I don't like the colorful icons of the default theme. I like a more neutral theme to contrast a background.

Which of the 6 pages of apps (including 22 folders) would you like to see?

;)

(Is there a way to create/export a list of all my installed apps?)

I have installous on my phone too. I use it to test apps that don't have demos.

gocorps phone is highly customized, I like it, the first one is impressive because of the level of organization and folders.

It's jailbroken, but I don't like themes.

[edit]
Why the hell does Photobucket re-encode my 640x960 lossless PNG to a blurry 627 x 941 image?!

I have mine pretty much normal, because I already have too many jailbreak programs that I NEED, and sometimes things can conflict badly so I try to lower complexity when possible.

But my sister wanted me to jailbreak hers just for the theming so she could do this:

I put my folders on page two and only official apps with a utility or two on the first page.

Finally, something different.

Too bad you can't do that stock. ;)

JB'ing is literally 1 click and impossible to totally screw a phone up with. I don't know why people carry on about "LULZ all iPhone screens look the same!" 99% of Androids I see look exactly the same too. Only uber nerds go any further than changing the wallpaper. And it's not really too bad what I did can't be done stock. It'll appeal to maybe .05% of iPhone owners, and it can potentially lead to a phone that doesn't work right. Honestly it's a good thing iOS is locked down the way it is. Anyone smart enough to do what I did, would be the type who'd Jailbreak their device any ways.

But you see, the point is, you don't "NEED" to jailbreak an Android phone to has a unique home screen. 99% of Android users' home screens are they same simply because they don't care about it, or may not realize they can do it.

Also, the kind of people who jailbreak iPhones are the same kind of "uber nerd" people you claim are the only kind of user who customizes their Android home screens. ;)

Jailbreaking may be a one-click, impossible to brick process, but I'd say around 99% of iPhone users aren't going to want to do that. "Download from this shady-looking website, run this and "break" my iPhone? no way"

It's very sad that you have to "hack" the device to truly customize it. And it amazes me that iPhone people are ok with this year in and year out. 07, 08, 09, 10....I'm willing to bet the new one will still be a screen filled with a bunch of square icons... i am sad panda. :(

Though I could, I have never rooted my phones. I have never determined that even the slightest effort was worth it.

Of course, most of the unwashed masses would run their phones stock even if they came completely open. Just look at most peoples PCs (I have found that people do not play with any settings on their PCs though, of course, they can).

The latest stats I saw say at least 25% of iPhones in use are jailbroken. Its stupidly easy and more people are finding reasons to do it.

But honestly if you go to the XDA or Launcher Pro themeing forums, there's stuff that would make you go WTF. The possibilities are endless and it's beyond powerful. I'd say just a little can change Android's look far more than iOS' look.

With that said I'm not a themeing freak. I don't want to spend 2 hours rebuilding my desktop every week because I have a different mood going on. I like the set it and forget it mentality.

No, both are easy to change the look 100%, I've owned both and done both. It took me 10 minutes to have my iPhone looking so different that everyone who said "let me see your phone" asked me what kind it was. No-one believed it was an iPhone "they don't look like this!" There are tons of iNav themes for iPhone, which can make it look like anything. You don't even have to do much to get it up and going. Same goes for Android and LPP themes. If you want to theme either from scratch (no iNav, LPP or Desktop Visualizer program) both are hard as shit to do anything with. So honestly, without the help of a 3rd party program good luck theming either,

6 of the 24 posts in this thread are android users trying to derail it. Get a life guys! There are thousands of android related posts in this forum, you don't have to come in here because you have some superiority complex.

Heres what mine looked like before I cleaned it. Tested out iOS 5 then put it back to normal and havent re-jailbroken yet.
