I use www.excite.com. All the news I need, and the best TV guide on the net. You can mark your favorite shows red!

And 3 hours/day of TV is not much. I have the TV on non-stop from 6pm to 1am every night. I have the TV playing in a 2" x 2" window on my computer as I type this. Simpsons till 10:30, Seinfeld till 11:00, Seinfeld again at 11:30, Conan at 12:00, and Nick At Nite whenever I want.
