What's your highest snake score?

I have a friend who is very good at snake game on the nokia cell phone. His highest score is 1839. Can anyone top that?
 
What speed level is that? The faster it goes the more points you get for each dot, but the harder it is.

I got like 1200 on skill 3, ive only played it once or twice though
 
Mine is 868, on level 7.

My phone frequently lags though (takes a LONG time to respond to direction control), I'm not sure why. Makes it very hard to play.

I played with a 3390 recently, I was impressed at how much more responsive it was vs my 3285.

Also, the snake game on the newer phones is much different than on mine.

The scores are probably not comparable.

On my nokia I always play on the fastest level. I think my top score is 569 or so. I generally get bored or impatient and I drop my perfect technique and instead try and take shortcuts to the food. That's what screws me!

I had 1170 which at level 9 is 130 dots eaten. I can't stand to play at any slower levels....I go nuts waiting for the snake to move.
 
I played it a couple times on my friend's cellphone. Got like a 430ish score...but it was really boring.
It doesn't require any skill...at all.
 
He's leaving out the fact that on the 3390, you get bonus points...after every 5 dots eaten, a bonus dot appears (shaped liek a bug or animal) and it is worth ~100points, give or take 10 depending on how fast you eat it.

On the original snake, i don't think 1900 is possibly.....
 
I got 1368 on the original Snake from the Nokia 5190. That's the fastest mode and all but a few pixels on the screen was filled.
I don't see how it would be possible to get a higher score.

I few years afterwards, I finally realize how pointless it was.
 
Let me fill u on some info. My friend is a second year biochem college student. He would play snake every opportunity he get. I would say about 2 hrs a day. He played on all my friend cell phone and beat their highest score in 5 min. Yesterday I introduce nuclearfusion01 to him and give him his phone. In a matter of minute, he beats nuclearfusion's higest score, 1000 something. It's really amazing how long the snake is. Right now, he is still play it.
