What's your general routine down here at the forums?

i usually hit the main page, click General Hardware. about 6 pages later, i'll move onto the Hot Deals forums. From there, it's off to the Software and Apps. And finally, I finish off my day with a visit to the jolly ol Off Topic forum. What about you guys?

Hit the Off Topic, check e-mail, refresh off topic, check forsale/fortrade, maybe hot deals, check e-mail, get a beer, start drinking, write annoying posts and replies ehh...sigh

I start my whole on-line session with this link:

Once it's fully loaded, I open two more windows of the same page. Then I start OE. While that's fetching spam, I start Spedia. While that's going on, I read the daily topics and see if some brilliant topics have been started. Also check topics that I've started or participated in the day before. I'll click one of those and check for useful mail while that loads. (Yeah, I'm still on POTS ) I move the spam to the spam folder and read mail. After that I refresh one of the Off topic windows, click one of the topics and read the other one that loaded before. I jump back and forth between loading topics and reading them.

After causing a ruckus in OT, I switch to General Hardware and Hot Deals. Usually I end up opening another window and check Pricewatch and Buy.com. What a way to kill an evening...

I usually visit Off-Topic forums (link posted by Ornery) only...

I used to visit General Hardware/CPU sections mainly, but that was like a year or two ago.. for the past while it has only been Off-Topic. It is just an interesting and more enjoyable place to be... But I still occasionally pop in the General Hardware forum to see what's going on there.

I used to have 5-10 instances of IE open while I browse, but ever since I got downgraded to my P83 I've been limited to 1-5 unless I want to severely lag myself to death (all the while I usually have ICQ and an email prog open).

I usually start with General Hardware, then Operating Systems, Video, Off Topic, and the others in the order listed on the main forum page, except for For Sale/Trade, Hot Deals, Distributed Computing & Networking, which I totally ignore. Repeat this pattern several times each day, interspersed with visits to the main site, Ars Technica, SysOpt, AGN and Kabelogo's BBS, some Might & Magic 8, and my 10:30 nightly visit to Neochat.

I tend to have only one IE window open.

i cruise the forums backwards... start at video... and work my way up.

i only occasionally visit hot deals (no money ) and forum issues (for issues).

holy crappers, and i thought that my routine was repetitive.
