What's your gasoline costing?

I think I paid around $3.50/gal last fill, but I probably add gas to the car like once a month. Getting 40+ mpg with a hybrid and not needing to drive everywhere is awesome.

$4.89 the other day here, was in Aberdeen a few days ago, $4.51 at the Safeway. (that’s down 10 cents over 2weeks ago) Checked Gas Buddy….same price today.

$2.92 at BJs with my additional $0.25 off. $3.50 at other gas stations. I'll be sad to see that additional Founding Members discount go away in another ~4 months

1.68/litre here.

Found this pic from the 70's back when gas prices were way cheaper. Thought it was interesting. Never going to see prices that low again. Apparently that's in gallons too, guess we had not switched to metric then. So that would be equivalent to 19c! (I think it was British gallons at the time)

The bridge in the background has been demolished very recently. They're redoing that stretch of highway.

If I did my envelope math right (and noting that Canada appears to have switched from imperial gallons at pumps to liters in 1979), and assuming this photo isn't 1979, then it translates to about 20 cents/liter at the time, or between ~1-1.50 CAD (depending on the year), so it doesn't seem that much more expensive for gas. Especially when you factor in gains in engine efficiency (don't need as much gas to go the same distance). Never mind the negative externalities of burning gasoline.

$3.09 pump price.

I use this thing on my phone (If you want more info, let me know and I'll drop you a PM) that gives discounts. Right now, they gave me 10 cents off per gallon, with an extra 10 cent per gallon bonus, so 20 cents total.

Like in the other thread, there is a US Bank offer for 15% cashback for gas stations and a double bonus period for this week, should be a total of 30%

If it all works out, it should be 3.09 - 20 cents, 2.89 - 15% twice . which should bring it to around $2.00 gallon.

$1.66/litre.

Just realized I should have filled up today since I'm on near empty and and since it's the long weekend they'll probably jack it up. I should be able to last until end of next week though, don't have that much driving to do.

I usually fill up at 1/2 but I've been lazy. I went to my property several times a week ago so that took it's toll.

Still $1.66/litre so didn't go up yet. Had to do a bunch of dump runs so ended up filling up since the fuel light went on. $193 total. I usually don't let it get that empty.
