What's your gasoline costing?

Oops! Yesterday's $3.83 at Costco became $4.08 today. $4.19 yesterday at closest Shell is $4.32 today. Tallahassee.

$4 or so for regular, but I buy premium and couldn’t even say for sure what it costs. It couldn’t be less consequential to my budget with how little I drive these days. Probably had more track miles than normal miles last year and I only went a handful of times.

I saw Exxon Premium @ $5.49 per gallon today .... that's the highest gas price I've ever seen in-person.

Fortunately I also drive a tiny Honda!

In Italy, we're paying about 2.07€ per liter for gas and 2.02€ per liter for diesel. I filled my diesel verhicle about 4 days ago and it cost about €82 for the tank.

Prices seem to be holding steady at 199.9 here. It's like they really don't want to hit that 2 dollar mark because it will look more expensive. 😛

Some oil industry elites definitely getting super rich from all this though.

RD$287.60 for premium gasoline, increasing a total of 4 pesos.
RD$270.50 for regular gasoline, with an increase of 4 pesos.
RD$236.10 for optimal diesel, with a rise of 3 pesos.
RD$217.60 for regular diesel, increasing by 5 pesos.
RD$147.60 for LPG, increasing 1 peso.
RD$28.97 for natural gas, maintaining its price.

so 4.91 USD Gallon for regular 87 octane

petrol is regulated by government, i think it's only changed a couple of times a month but tbqh i'm not sure

2,25 € / liter in Germany, I think that works out to about 9$ a gallon. People in the US have a long way to go before they should start complaining about gas prices 🙂.

Thank goodness I'm still WFH so I don't really care so much at this point, but if I have to commute again that is about 90 or so miles a day. Filled my wife's car up @ 4.19 a few days ago. There's recently been a decent amount of credit card perks though. $5 off exxon/mobil w/ app/CITI card. $10 off w/ AMEX/BP. Otherwise my 5% Penfed card helps a bit!

I remember when diesel was cheaper here, but now there is a 60¢ to 80¢ difference here. Regular gas today is $4.15 - $4.30/gallon, and diesel is $4.99 - $5.10. Diesel has been higher for many years.

Does Italy/Europe require all diesel be low sulfur (15 ppm)?

Still, my diesel VW is cheaper per mile at 50MPG than the wife's Toyota at 22MPG. There are very few diesel cars on the road in the US, most are pickup trucks and larger.

Diesel has varied as to whether it's higher or lower in gas in my experience, at least during the years that I've owned a diesel (so 2013-2015 and 2020-now). Sometimes cheaper, sometimes not. Last October I paid $3.72 for regular in my Miata, but $3.45 for diesel in my TDI. But in December, diesel was ten cents more than regular when I filled up each of them.

$4.25 yesterday. I'm another lucky WFHer and I drive a hybrid sedan so that's probably my March fill up. We do have a planned road trip in April so that's fun timing

Up to $3.99 at the closest station. Much whining from people roaring about town in 20-ish mpg vehicles.
Facebook post from a 'friend' yesterday saying they're quitting Facebook because they aren't getting enough sympathy when complaining about gas prices and their 15mpg truck. "How could we have predicted gas prices would get this high?" Like a spike in gas prices has never happened before let alone in their lifetime

Also they have no need for their truck. They don't tow anything and it's never seen a lumber yard or landscaping lot

Oh no! The consequences of his poor decisions....
