Not like it wasnt that high when sleepy joe was in office.
Did Biden cause a Pandemic which created the situation where gas prices rose?

So no, he didn't do that.

Did Trump start the Iran war which is the singular cause of these prices?

Why yes, he did.

This is all on Cheeto Mussolini - your dear leader.

$1.77/litre now.

They jacked up the carbon tax today. It never really went away it's just hidden now. Consumers don't pay it directly, the industry does, so it just gets passed back to us. They also jacked up their own salaries like they do every year. Must be nice to be able to do that.

~$6.09 for 89 Unleaded here on the peninsula, Bay Area CA .

Sometimes high $5's, sometimes shy of $6.50, really depends on the location and whether they were already one of the pricier places or not.

April fool's day, but this is not a fake. In Northwestern Ontario it's about C$1.75 per litre. In US dollars per US Gallon, that's $4.97/Gal. And yes, that's up there. Was more like C$1.40/l before the Iran stupidity. That's about 25% increase, but I suspect you in the USA are seeing a higher % number.

Just saw $2.99 a gallon gas just south of Piqua along I-75. (Sheetz gas station) Stations have been trending lower lately, but this is the lowest I have seen in a while.
Was that E15? A new Sheetz around here carries E15 at a decent discount. If you aren't used to it, the price on the sign catches your eye.

I don't trust E15. I tried a tank, and everything seemed fine, but I don't know about long term. I also don't like subsidizing farmers to grow energy with a very low rate of return. Corn gas is a scam all around. Electrify, and pure gas for everything else.

Safeway in town...$5.79. $5.09 (somehow gasbuddy had chosen premium grade) Earlier in the week..$5.05.
It was $3.99 on 3/1.

Wow, y'all are getting the special treatment. The Chevron nearest my house is always stupid expensive because it's near 101, they're at $5.99, don't have to drive far at all to get it for $4.99 instead. Fred Meyer has it at $5.19.

Safeway, up to $5.19.

Are you flipping them off and laughing maniacally as you drive-by in your Lightning?

Nah...not yet. Give it a couple more $$$ and maybe.
I'm still cringing over the $2000+ it's gonna cost to install a level 2 charger. I might try level 1 charging since I don't really drive much and supplement with public DC charging when I need it.

Just filled up at $2.91 a gallon by Piqua on I-75.

Yes, that was E-15, which is 85% gasoline, 15% ethanol. It should run fine in anything newer than 2001 model year. E-15 use cuts down on smog, (a real benefit to anyone who has asthma or other breathing issues). It also helps to decrease gas price fluctuations. The only real place where you shouldn't use it is in marine uses - there is just too much moisture right next to the water, and since boats often are not used daily, it gives the moisture a chance to build up in the system. If you commute to work each day in your boat, probably not a problem.

At times, I had wished they had gone with methanol instead of ethanol, since methanol can be made from waste products like grass clippings. However, methanol is much more toxic.
