Whats your FTP Client

I was just wondering what is the best ftp software? I've heard of a few i'm just looking for a recommendation from all of you.
Free would be nice but, I know you don't get much for free.

I use WS_FTP LE and CuteFTP but I was wondering the same thing as I'm not totally satisfied with these two FTP client programs... any other better ones?

and went from Cute FTP (early version) to v.4.5 of WS FTP to Bloolet Proof FTP v1.0x and now i went back full circle and when in Windows I use Cute FTP...In LinuxI it's gftp all the way.

i use FlashFXP, imo the best ftp client available. allows server to server transfers aswell as server to client.

I used to use cuteftp all the time, but the newer versions have too many junk features that get in the way (like the file transfer queue).

If I could find an old version, that would be cool (like 1.0), but I've just settled for using ws_ftp for now. Ws_ftp is simple, but it's got a dumb layout and retarted looking buttons

OLD fxp is the best.. the new versions are starting to get a tad bloated. Still even the newer FXP clients destroy CuteFTP, WAS_FTP, etc etc...

voyager isn't that bad either...although I always used cute....but it is getting bloated with junk

I used CUTE for a long time. Then switched to WS, and then tried ACE, WAR, and some others. I sort of hung onto LEAPFTP and really sort of like it. Has a few nice features, but it's probably about time to start looking at others to see what new features have been added.

I use WS_FTP Pro. Great to work with, and good features.

Vandykes AbsoluteFTP. I heard about it and decided to try it after using the most wonderful SecureCRT at work everyday. No problems with it, I like the interface of it. I have also used in the past KnoWares internet neigborhood, which integrates into the windows shell. The nice thing is that you can use it to map ftp space as a hard drive.

I like SecureCRT a lot too, so I'll give AbsoluteFTP a try..

I use Vermilion Ftp v.131 to set up, and I use Bulletproof Ftp v1.15 for client

What's good about Bulletproof ftp client? I seems to hear it a lot.... any comments? Thanks!
BTW, I did some experiment before to compare CuteFTP and WS_FTP Pro... apparently if you are on T1 line, WS_FTP Pro's performance (downloading a big file) is much better than CuteFTP... just a quick FYI...

I use Windows Commander. It's a *great* file manager that happens to have an ftp client.

Seems theres no land slide judgement here so I'm going to try ws-ftp and Windows Commander. (thanks vincent I downloaded this a month ago and misplaced it).I used cute ftp about a year ago and I wasn't impressed and from the sounds of it they lost or are losing a lot of market share. Too Bad !!!
