Alas... I cannot take credit for that pic. It was taken by another member on here whom I have the priviledge and honor of calling my friend.

Side note: some have had the audacity to claim that pic had been 'chopped'... fucken heretics.

No. He didn't fall for it. He's saying that it should have been GIF formatted so that those who don't know who TS is and are looking for it to animate would be further convinced that it should. IOW, the ones that were really "wooshed" over would be even more convinced that it was supposed to animate and there must be a problem.

1. If it wooshed on anyone, no matter what format the image was in, they're as fucking brain-dead as the subject of the photo.

2. Changing the image to .gif would have required either more googling or some photoshopping, none of which were going to make the joke any funnier.

I obviously understand that Terri Schiavo was a vegetable and couldn't move at all. I understand the joke is that the "animated" image shows no movement. It would work much better if you use the GIF image format when you present it as an "animated GIF." This may cause someone to study it more closely even though there is no movement.

More effective lulz.
