What's your favourite musical marathon? (6+ minute song)

I know I'm missing some, let me know what I should add.

For my money, I gotta go with November Rain.

And even though its emo Konstantine by Something Corporate I'll admit is a good song.

Edit: Ok so a poll was pointless. Just list 'em off.

chemical brothers - the sunshine underground
yes - and you and i
smashing pumpkins - porcelina of the vast oceans
bob dylan - the hurricane
the living end - the room

Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons

23 minutes of aural orgasm (not to be confused with oral orgasm 😛)

On the Freedom album by Darrel Evans, you'll find a song called "We Wait" which is about 10 minutes long. The ensamble includes six guys on snare, all chopping out a march, and a single guy on a full kit. From what I can tell, from what I hear, I think the kit's an 8-piece. Anyway, the last several minutes of the song begin with Darrel going "just the drums" and the rest of the musicians fade their instruments out quickly while the six guys on snares and the guy on the set are all chopping out this peppy, catchy march. The guy on the set does a slight deviation while the six on snares just keep truckin' along. The guy on the set then just busts the fvck out. 😎 It sounds very, very kickass with those other six going. It's one of the best percussion solos I've ever heard.

You need to add:

Arlo Guthrie - Alice's Restaurant Massacre

Metallica - Master of Puppets (7 minutes and change)

Most Tool songs, particularly Eulogy, Pushit, Aenema, Lateralus, Schizm, and Parabol + Parabola (basically one song) And that's just the ones that have been played on the radio. (that I can remember)

But I'm personally voting for my favorite: NOFX - The Decline. 17+ minutes. Damn good song.

the organ solo in this song blows any other musical marathon out of the water.

uh, none of those.

Ok, what to add?
I still say there should be a "Various - Tool" option.

Not that I'd pick it. My vote went to The Decline. I've never heard 17+ minutes of music in one song that kept me entertained, except for that song.

How about Jethro Tull? There must be a few Tull songs that go more than 6 minutes. Hell, the album "Thick as a Brick" is practically one long song.
