What's your favourite chocolate bar?

The price of chocolate is pushing the cost of a simple candy bar high enough that the consumer should demand more bang for the buck. (A buck is about the average price, anyway).

I suggest that they offer a discounted bar with corn sweeteners and a premium bar with real sugar. They could market it as a throwback choice and sell the same bar for two price levels.

Oh, don't really have a favorite... I prefer boxed sweets.

Not really a bar but I could eat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups till I'm sick. For bars, I like the Cadbury Dairymilk with the sponge toffee bits in them.

Also, this is a gold bar:

Love them. Basically white chocolate (slightly toffee / caramel flavoured) with biscuit in the middle. 🙂 Is gooood.

In the UK we have Cadbury's Caramel, Yeah they are nice, that's a good one, there's a few UK specific (I believe) chocolates that I like, Caramacs and Gold Bars at the top of my list there 🙂

I imagine there is some difference in taste, IMO there's a lot more sugar in the American ones.

Probably a lot more sugar ... hehehe ...

That said, we can get a good variety here, depending on the store we go to. There are stores that only carry imported goods... and they typically will carry a large array of various different chocolates.

I am perfectly content with my cheap sugary american style chocolates ..... but when it comes to the beers ... I can't seem to get away from Belgium ......

Hey I'm not complaining, neither is better or worse IMO, just different, and in all honesty if you want something low in sugar don't eat a chocolate bar 😀, I did have some nice chocolate in America, we have quite a lot of variety here soon (hence all the fatties)

Schneider, aren't you and neckhair engaged ... or were you in love with some other Englishman?

You really are obsessed with me aren't you...

Love it!

He's competing with Neckhair and a few nameless others for top troll.

Neckhair is trying to make up for the posting opportunities he lost during his banishment. Damn, almost half the posts within this thread ALONE are his.

Keep up the good work Neckhair ...

He is trying hard to out-do Neckta$%.

Here is a counter-point to the OPs ramblings:

"Why the 21st Century will not belong to China"

I'd like to know what the "minimum" requirements are for membership in these forums. Why? If you allow NeckT#%$ in as a member your standards must be rock-bottom.

If you wanna fuck me, PM me.

You haven't lived until you tried Kit Kat's other flavours. The mint is to die for. Too bad I can never find it. Only available at British and Japanese ex-pat shops

What else is there along with mint? Not a huge fan of mint, but willing to try it. Now, if there was a raspberry Kit Kat, I'd be all in!

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
York Peppermint Patty
Nestle's Crunch
Dove chocolate

Cadbury has some good stuff too!

mr. goodbar - primary
payday (no chocolate does it count?)
zagnut bar (another no chocolate)
almond joy once in a while
charleston chew once in a while

a chocolate bar is just a chocolate bar, right?
