I typically like anything in a blush or white though. Not a fan of red wines.

Favorite wine is from Bourgonge region, appelation is Auxey-Durress from just outside Beaune. It's a small village with a dozen to two dozen vineyards. I have a sentimental preference for the Roy vineyard. The wine is nearly impossible to find in the States as I have only actually seen the white imported anywhere (to Calvert Woodley in Washington, D.C.). In talking with the vintners; however, I was told that at least one or two of them do export to the States. One of these days I'll find it.
I have about 6 bottles aging at my folks' house in Atlanta which should be prime for drinking in a few years. More generally speaking, I prefer wines made with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, and Pinot Noir grapes. Cabernets are good as well, but I tend to spend more for good ones there than with the others.
White wine is for girls.Literally, actually, because it seems that most women I talk to prefer white over red, predominantly attributable to past experience with horrific beverages purporting to be wine while served from plastic bladders in a cardboard box. A good indicator is that if you are advised to chill a red wine (to white wine chilling temps), then DON'T DRINK IT.
