What's your favorite type of food.

I like all the different kinds of fruits, especially peaches. Sometimes I feel like I could kill someone for a peach when it's needed.

Sandwich. Something with bread and great toppings. I don't know which type of food you'd put a sandwich into since it'll fit almost any category depending on the sandwich.

I went to a Brazilian buffet, once. there was this dish with olives that was GREAT. I have no idea what it was... it had something that was sort of like really small rice grains.... almost like sand, and there were olives and meats, and such.

Oh, and Guarana soda. yums.

:wine:😀

Southern/Cajun

We never get any love in these polls. 🙁

No kidding.
You might not get poll respect, but at least 75% of the food on the Food Network is Southern/Cajun. Boy it would be nice to see something else for a change on that network.

Well, Emeril is popular, and you've got Paula who cooks some weird stuff, but other than that *I* don't see much of it. I watch it at weird hours, so there are probably some shows I don't see, but I don't see too much.

Molto Mario is good for Italian, I don't know if there are any Tex-Mex shows. East Meets West is good Asian cooking, I don't think they have any Indian shows, and I'm not sure what else you'd have.

More kinds of shows would be nice. I'd like fewer crazy features like that show with Jill Cordes, what ever it's called.

We're all tired of Emeril though. 😀

I love mexican food - speaking of which I think that's what we might have for supper 😛

next to that, I could live on donuts!!!!

Dungeoness Crab and King crab legs are my most very favorite
Otherwise Indian food, though I have only had it about a dozen and a half times (Egg curry and Chicken Curry are probably my 2 favorites, though I really like Tandoori chicken a LOT as well)
then (I like these all equally) Thai, Chineese (especially Kung Pao Chicken), Japaneese (though i HATE sushi, and i have tried it for all you "you don't know what you are missing" people), American (by American I mean stuff cooked on the Grill BBQ style, steaks, chops, ribs, etc... Big dishes with over a pound of red meat ..), Creole/Cajun ... (Jambalaya and Gumbo are friggin awesome though pretty much everything food from New Orleans is awesome)
Then Probably Greek and Middle Eastern
Then Mexican, Italian, Danish(pastries mmm), and German (I like these a Lot, don't get me wrong, I just like the ones above better)
Then the rest ....

EDIT: Added Creole / Cajun

Then at the very bottom, English food, yech

Don't you understand the deadly control it has over you? They've got to be stopped!

/me tosses nearby peach into wood chipper

Yeah...I love peaches. /castortroy I could just eat a peach for hours... /castortroy

Depends on the mood. Sometimes I just have to have Italian and other times I'd die without a good juicy steak. Sometimes only seafood will do and others it's Chinese.

Top 5:
Italian
Chinese
Mexican
Seafood
Good old American

I don't like Thai as a rule, too much fruit and nuts in too many dishes, but the hot spicy stuff is good. And nobody likes English food, not even the English themselves.
