Eh. Not so much, and it's nothing to do with it being mainstream (I like Friday I'm in Love). They've made many better songs (IMO, of course)

add love cats and killing an arab to that list... and i thought "love will tear us apart" was only a joy division song...


there are a ton of cure songs that i like a lot, all older stuff. once they hit mainstream it really affected their sound, not for the better.


edit:

was a joy division cover, never heard the cure version. not bad, but the original is way better.

heh, that song was on a mixed tape i got from a girl in highschool 🙂
it only sounds right to me if it is being played on a warped old cassette 😀
