Diesel shoes are probably one of the most uncomfortable pair of shoes I've ever bought.

Nike Shox or New Balance. If you're talking about non-sneakers then Timberland, Lugz and Sketchers are up there...

dunno...Ecco makes comfortable sandals...also have Diesel slip-ons and regular "tennis" shoes (comfortable, for the most part), running shoes are New Balance, dress shoes are Johnston & Murphy, Kenneth Cole and Banana Republic, backup athletic shoes are Adidas (always good...old school sambas to running shoes), casual brown shoes would be Doc Martens, which everyone has.

Lots of companies make good shoes, a lot of it depends on the individual wearer's feet.

Vasque / Redwing (same company, I think; Vasque is the name that the Hiking boots are sold under)

Nike or Teva for sandals

Probably Newbalance for just plain old tennis shoes / sneakers
