The thing I found about that place is their schtick seems to be dressing up normally inexpensive Chinese food, put it on elegant dinnerware, and call if fancy so they can charge you double what it's worth. It would be like Arby's putting their menu in a fancy building and charging $12 for a roast beef & cheddar.
We have a place near us called New Empire, and it's upper class Asia food done right. I say Asian because they have special chefs from Japan, China, and Korea. Their food is served in authentic dinnerware (they use pots, "ladel" spoons, porcelain tea pots, etc), they have fresh fish----when I say fresh it's STILL FREAKIN' ALIVE in tanks...very cool place. You get all that and it's still 2/3's the price of PF Changs.
Like i said, we haven't been there since a food poisoning incident, but the whole establishment is like a "Californicated" Chinese restaurant- and by that I mean they serve simple food that is made to be unnecessarily pretentious.
