Doesn't matter what you do, what do you like to listen to most when working a late or all-night shift?

Right now I'm listening to:
"Kind of Blue" - Miles Davis

Always end up listening to trance, Paul Van ***, Paul Oakenfold etc.

I find it really soothing.

I'm impressed with your musical tastes (was very surprised to see any knowledge of Acoustic Alchemy around here), but I just gotta point out that Remy Shand isn't a jazz musician--that guy is all soul. He's got a hell of a voice, writes really catchy songs, and plays almost all the instuments on his album. I love blasting that CD in my car. It's just good music any way you slice or dice it.

P.S. Might as well answer the original post... my late-night musical tastes usually hover in the realm of nujazz or downbeat electronica. Royksopp, Jazzanova, St. Germain, Thievery Corporation, Hooverphonic, Zero 7, and of course Air.

I love Air too... my co-worker just got me into Thievery Corporation and Jazzanova... I will have to check out the other stuff you mentioned.

Qosis you should look into some other DJ's. I like PvD and Oakey, but recently I've found about 4 DJ's that are kick ass. DJ Tiesto, DJ Scot Project, Blank and Jones, and Daniel Soto (wish I could find some of these on the P2P network I use). Really good stuff. Right now I am addicted to Blank and Jones.
