What's your favorite mixed drink and how is it made?

Bah, Alcohol tastes like the bitter part of a pecan. I don't see the rationale behind drinking it.

2 shots blackcurrent juice/concentrate (like Ribena)
top up pint glass with cider


Purple paralyser:
1/2 shot red aftershock
1/2 shot blue aftershock (or make both of these full shots if you want)
Top up with Smirnoff Ice

For those that do not want Webtender on their histories:

* 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
* 1/2 oz Southern Comfort
* 1/2 oz Amaretto
* 1 part Cranberry juice

Cement Mixer

* Bailey's Irish Creme
* Lime juice

I am not certain of the proper mix. Stir in shot glass until nice and curdled. Actually looks like curdled milk. Then drink. Careful on the actual mix. I had one once that was so thick, I could turn the shot glass upside down, and it did not come out.



There are a couple that I like..... We had a regular bartender that made them up for me and others. I have no idea of the exact "recipie," but here it goes.

The Green Shot <- Best name we could think of.

Story: I told the bartender to make something that would hurt me.

Result: He mixed all of the fruit liquers in a tumbler. It came out green. It glowed under the black light. It hurt.

The Green Drink <- Again, the best name we could come up with.

Story: He wanted something that could sell to other customers.

Result: The Green Shot + 2 parts Pineapple Juice. <--- Damn tasty drink!

There are of course the staples:

Have the bartender dump out the mats into your shot glass. <--- Takes a brave person.

I enjoy Captain Morgan and ginger ale, Tanqeray and tonic, Bloody Marys, Southern Comfort on the rocks, and of course straight Tequila. I don't enjoy cheap liquor and I'm not much of a fan of whiskey. I generally avoid sweet drinks but the occasional Black Russian is ok. As someone mentioned, it's vodka and kahlua. Everything else is self explanatory.

There are tons of mixed drinks I like, my fav ones having tequila in em!!!
Margaritas have to be by far the best drink!

Bottle of Jose Quervo Margarita mix
quarter bottle (of a 750ml bottle) Jose Quervo gold tequila
2 1/2 - 3 shots worth of Galliano... Still tastes like a margarita but takes away from the tequila bite at the end with a diff flavor no one iwl be able to point out.

Serve chilled, over ice, or blended, with salt around the rim of the glass if preferred.

Cadillac Margarita. My father-in-law got me hooked on these. He makes them like this:

- Put margarita salt on rim of glass

- Fill halfway with ice

- Shot of Cuervo Gold

- Shot of Grand Marnier

- Fill up the rest of the glass with margarita mix and stir.

 

3-5oz of bombay sapphire gin, on ice with a slice of lime.

Mabey some tonic water if I'm feeling like it.

I also like rum and coke or kahlua and cream.

A group of friends from work and I would always get together Thursday nights and just got trashed. As the night progressed, flaming dr. peppers got more and more dangerous.
