Pink Floyd did a good job recreating the studio sound for P.U.L.S.E..

i think its about the emotion and spontaneity.

Nirvana - Unplugged
Nine Inch Nails - Beside You in Time. I don't have it on CD, but the Blu-ray is absolutely incredible. Right Where it Belongs brings tears to my eyes every time I see it.

Underworld's live dvd is also great

Another big fan of Nirvana Unplugged and Alice in Chains Unplugged. You might say those two performances are the reason I (started loving) love those bands so much.

It is actually 11/17/70. It was widely circulated as a bootleg, and they decided to release it so they could make the $ off of it.
