A co-worker and I were in a debate over which large pizza chain is the best. Personally I prefer local places Fratellos, Lil Anthony's, or Lazy Moon. But, I just wanted to see what you guys here thought. I'm wondering if ATOT will mirror my thoughts, or my co-workers.
 
Papa Murphy's makes a heckuva pizza if you don't mind baking it yourself. They're huge and have tons of toppings.
 
I am fully expecting it to be a 3 man race. I'm also not placing/revealing my vote until we have 100 votes. So get voting 😛
 
Papa Johns > Pizza Hut > Dominoes. Never had the others...

I would eat any of them though, they are all decent. None of them can hold a candle to a good local pizza joint though, but I'm not too picky when I'm cramming my pie hole with pizza and beer.

No single chain is a favorite.
I like 'em all equally.
It is a matter of taste, what I am in the mood for at the time.

But yeah, excluding local Mom & Pops places, Papa Murphy's is the hands-down winner for pizza overall, if you have time to cook it

IDK, I was focusing more on the delivery chains. I haven't been to a Goodfather's in a long time, do they deliver?
 
I order from a major chain maybe once a year? I guess it would be pizza hut, I like the bread sticks and cinnasticks.

If you live in the greater NYC metro area and you buy chain store pizza or bagels from dunkin donuts, you are a certifiable fucktard.

It would be like living in Philly and getting a cheesesteak from Arby's or something.

33 years old and don't remember a time when our local one didn't... Never heard of Hungry Howies or Toppers for that matter.
 
I used to love Papa John's when they first came to the area, but they all closed shortly after. We still have one, but it's always empty, and the quality went to shit.

I voted pizza hut, since I like it more than dominoes or little caesars, I've never heard of hungry howies.

Local and small chain pizzerias are everywhere around me, and much better than the large chains obviously.

You buy your pizza handmade from the Italian family who's (great)grandfather started the business 150 years ago.. and who probably hand built the (same) oven (they're still using) when he started the place.

And don't even get me started on Knishes! :wub:
