What's your favorite Jewish food?

EDIT: If anyone cares, my favorite is potato latkes, but I like challah and kishke almost as much. Oh, and mandelbread cookies are good.

Bagels are Jewish? Didn't know that...

I'm not familiar with any of those foods, so I voted for Death to Israel 😉 Just joking of course... Is cabbage borscht made with pickled cabbage?

Corned beef is Jewish?

Very much so. But what does corned beef have to do with gefilte fish?

I'm so happy that this poll is here, I was just musin over kosher hotdogs and got lost in the thought, haven't even seen the poll yet,
neat...

hey now, i happen to quite like gefilte fish!

and you don't have falafel or shwarma up there, so how i can i vote correctly?

(and yes, i know shwarma is an arabic food, but i still associate it w/ israeli food since i have only ever been able to get it in israel)

I'll add gefilte fish, but I don't know about the other two. That's kinda stretching it.

Halva, I believe, is Greek/Turkish. I'm not sure where it originated, but it exists in a lot of the countries in Eastern Europe...

latkas!!!!!!!!!!

BTW: Should th poll be: "What's your favorite ISRAELI food"? Since we are talking about a specific countrys food, not just the religion. I always thought it to be derogitory to say "Jew food".

I dunno...

Can you split kugel up into "potato kugel" and "noodle kugel"? Cause noodle kugel = sum good, and potato kugel is just as bad as gefilte fish.

I don't see how it's derogatory. And the term "Isreali food" doesn't really make much sense.
