What's your favorite driving music?

In no specific order:

Tom Petty - Running Down a Dream
Eric Clapton - Layla (Electric)
Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower
The Who - Baba O'Reily
Chili Peppers - Dani California
AC/DC - Have a Drink on me
The Allman Brothers - Jessica
The Beatles - We Can Work It Out
Billy Joel - I Go to Extremes

the list goes on...

I love playing these on the highway because the speed matches them and it feels like I'm in a carchase (of course I'm really NOT)

Smack My Bitch Up/Firestarter - Prodigy
Infinity In Your Hands - DJ Darkzone
Come In Hard - Hardknox (hear it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gp5QfUrBxfQ at 2:50 but it doesn't have the voice)
Cyberdyne - Fear Factory
Bim Bam Smash - John Powell (a la Bourne Supremacy)
Feisar/Xpander - Sasha
Ready Steady Go - Paul Oakenfold

I enjoy listening to Cartel when im driving.

If not that, usually something upbeat like Panic at the Disco or something rockish like Three Days Grace.

Albums, no songs.
Angra - Temple of Shadows
Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil
Nightwish - Highest Hopes (Best of)
Kamelot - Epica, The Black Halo

That's pretty damn close to what I would pick as awesome driving songs... Although I think I would also add "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Free Falling." And some Lamb of God and Arch Enemy and old-school Metallica.

<3 Nightwish and Lacuna Coil. Anything that Amazon suggests as "similar" music always comes up short, IMO.

I actually listen to Blues or Bluegrass on Sirius most days. Energetic music with more talent and less headache than commercial radio crap.
