I think the Usual Suspects is one of the greatest crime flicks ever made, its just pulls you in and keeps your attention from the very beginning.


The new movie with Kevin Spacey looks like it might be a good one.


 
Casino and the entire Godfather series. LA Confidential was another that I really liked although it wasn't your usual crime/mafia movie...very good though.
 
I actually don't like mobster movies all that much, but I did enjoy:

-Godfather (the original; 2nd was also good just too gloomy for me to enjoy)
-Casino

but are you kidding, that new one looks SO terrible (if you are talking about life of David Gale) A line in the trailer says he went from normal man to death row inmate in 1 week and now a reporter has 3 days to save him! Are you insane! There is NO WAY that would happen that fast thanks to our wonderful judicial system. Looks super stupid IMO
