I'm just curious how much faster Chrome is compared to Firefox. The reason is because rendering benchmarks don't show much of a gain. I'm wondering if it's a perception thing. Much like how Internet Explorer used to be thought of as faster than Firefox even though FF was faster in rendering the whole page. However, IE displayed certain info from the page before FF did so it got you up and running, even though the whole page wasn't rendered yet.

I tried Safari 4 today. No way I'm going back to anything else ! It's as fast as Chrome, has full Aero Preview support for Win7, zoom is fully working (unlike Chrome's flash zooming which is terribly broken) and it takes just a tiny bit more screen estate. Definitely my favorite ! 😀

chrome because I love the start page with my favorite websites. I only go to about 5-6 so it's nice just clicking on the screenshot of the page rather then typing. yes, I'm a lazy bastard.

I've switched to chrome almost exclusively for the past couple of months.

The only times I found myself using Firefox is when I'm downloading something big (like 2GB or more) because of the DownThemAll add-on.

Chrome on my netbook.
FF on my personal laptop and htpc just because of all the add-ons.
IE6 and FF3.5/Chrome (portable apps)

Using Internet Explorer 8 due to the way it's nicely integrated with Windows 7. Plus It isn't that bad in my opinion. Though I have to say, I'm quite fond of switching my favorite browser after few months of usage just to see how other browsers are so who know's what browser I'll use next month 😛

Ive recently switched to chrome but miss the videodownloader and screenskip of FireFox, but I just couldnt take FF crashes and slowdowns anymore. What happened to it?

3.5.4 and 3.5.3 fixed crashes for me. Thank god. Even with the crashes its still the best though 🙁

I have no idea. Keep going from Firefox, Opera, to Internet Explorer. Always end up back to firefox because of tab mix plus extension though.
