what's your favorite arcade game of all time?

Hard Drivin' - came out around 1990 or so, and it was so badass at the time, I remember being blown away by the realism (for that time). It had a 4 speed, plus reverse, and you even had to turn the key to restart it if you stalled out! The polygon graphics seemed great, remember how the windshield would get cracked when you crashed haha. The one thing that annoyed me was how it took 2 quarters to play unlike most of the other games. It's funny, I was in an aracade over the summer that had the game, and I played it and it seemed so lame compared to some of todays driving games, but still that game will always be a classic.

Arkanoid was another one of my favorites, it was damn addictive!

The sit down Star Wars game. The one with the various green lines, kinda like the old vectrex systems. Who here (that remembers it) can't say running the Death Star trench, and launching those torpedoes wasn't the most thrill $0.25 could buy.

Gosh. I haven't played arcade games for such a long time. Back then my favorites were Outrun and Double Dragon.

I love the shooting games, but the best ones I think are House of the Dead 1 and 2. Of course, that also depends on how abused the guns are.

I really enjoy Final Fight... that was probably the first arcades I was really into before streetfighter.

I loved the Streatfighter "VS" series (i.e. marvel vs capcom, marvel vs capcom ii).... haven't been to an arcade in a while though.
