what's your favorite 3rd person games/shooters?

You always hear about the fps games. But rarely, with a few notable exceptions, do you get much clamor about a 3rd person title. What are some of your favorite 3rd person perspective games?

well, you have your board games like chessmaster...then there's your puzzle games like marble drop. then there's the RTS game. I'm not sure how an rpg would fit either.

I don't think I'd consider Tetris or Solitaire as a third person game.

As for the original question....

All-time favorite would probably be MDK. I loved that game! The original Tomb Raider would definitely get points, as well.

Currently, it's a toss-up between MechAssault and Splinter Cell.

By 3rd person, do you mean third person action game, ala Splinter Cell and Max Payne, or any game that isn't 1st person? Somehow, I doubt Diablo and Warcraft were exactly what you had in mind.

usually any game with that classic chase cam view. Max payneish. You could argue that warcraft/starcraft series is first person commanding, but that's kind of a cop out. Diablo, no clue how to place it.
