What's your favorit soap when showering?

Is anyone else confused when they see the Dove commercials for their soap? It looks EXACTLY like their commercial for chocolate ice cream bars except the soap is silky white instead of silky brown. I swear that when I see the commercial I feel more like eating the soap than washing with it.

I use a yellow scrub towel, because yellow means "fast"... it also means hazard, caution, taxi, and bus!!
Makes washing my back pretty easy... no contortionism (new word!!) needed.

That's funny, most of chicks in my office us Dial. I'd think that "lava" is more manly.

Oh come on. Dial is the original anti-bacterial soap, none of those weird scents or moistureizers. I prefer Boraxo to Lava myself.

i hear anti-bacteria is bad though. cuz you breed a race of super bacteria that establish a conquering empire on your skin leaving death and suffering in its wake. maybe thats the propaganda non anti-bacteria soaps i've been fed

Haha, that's the best reasoning behind not using Dial I've ever heard. LOL. It's deoderant too. If I run out of Right Guard, I can break my bar of dial in half and stick a piece into each armpit.

Wasn't there a major report about a month or two ago about how all these soaps marketing themselves as 'anti-bacterial' really didn't offer any anti-bacterial benefit over other soaps who didn't claim/tout the 'anti-bacterial' angle?

Which brands? Are "anti-microbial" soaps (the kind tested in the article) the same as anti-bacterial? I ask because I seriously don't know.

Old Spice High Endurance Soap, now that's a man's soap...well ok the Lava Soap with Sand sounds more macho, but can't go wrong with High Endurance soap.

I really have no idea. I just remember seeing this report on several different stations that day. The report did mention that those hand sanitizers (the ones you don't need water for) do work great though. I keep one of those right next to my desk to try and avoid sickness at the office.

Pure isopropyl alcohol would work better than the sanitizers though. Cheaper too. (Isopropyl alcohol is the active ingredient.) Nothing against the sanitizers, just pointing it out.

Right, the soap itself is biodegradable... so you can take it to camping trips... and use it in the river. (manly type of camping trips)
