what's your "fallback" game?

Anything in the Tribes franchise, because I can beat the ever-loving crap out of anyone playing. Sad that it isn't as prevalent any more.

Usually I just put it down and go read a book or something. I should have one though considering that I've got a bunch of new games to get through that I haven't started.

My fallback game or games requires the words "Age Of Empires" to be included. Or the word "Rome"

Those are the very types of games that would make me want to tear my hair out. They are fantastic games and really fun to play but they are hard and I SUCK at RTSs 🙁

My concentration is my downfall in games and it's almost always the reason why I lose. This game requires the utmost concentration at times but being turn based I can adjust and live with it.

Pffftt... Gaming is serious business!
Me personally? I beat my wife and kids. Of course kicking the dog makes me feel like a big man too.

Pussy; I cut myself in the bathroom and leave the razor conspicuously on top of the garbage so that I can deny it later.

RPGs like Morrowind, EQ, D2.

Or fun childhood games like Zelda.

Can't really be bad at those.

If BC2 and SC2 make you rage why are you even playing? Personally I think SC2 is just a shitty, mediocre game, but it became something of a phenominon because of some people that see things in it that are not truly there. It's like Malevich's black square... It's just a f-ing square! Why cant peopel take it for what it is? But nooooooo.... If you stand long enough staring into it, you may eventually start seeing the inner beauty. Well heck, if I stare at anythign long enough, I may go mad and start seeing things...

Same shit people preach about SC2.. If you play it long enough.... etc, etc. Screw that I dont want to micromanage, and I dont even want to think about how many actions per minute I can do. So I dont play Starcraft.

My fallback game is EVE Online. It's what I play most of the time. This game is so peaceful, so relaxing. And at the same time it can be very hectic and stressful when you want it to. A perfect balance.

Also, any TW game... and Borderlands.

If I get bored of playing a SP game I play Black ops, or Guild Wars. When I get bored of playing multilayer I go back to whatever SP game I was playing. I never have more than one SP game going at a time. If I did, I would never finish them.

Eh if I get pissed I'll just switch servers or take a break and watch something on Netflix...I was working on The Witcher for a while, but I hunkered down and finished it the other day. Now I will probably chip away at Fallout 3.
