-7.75 right / -7.25 left (with 180 degree astigmatism in left) at my last check-up -- that's appox. 20/900

edit: uncorrected, I can't even hardly see the big "E" at the top of the chart

but with contacts or glasses, I correct to 20/25 so no biggie

Funny thing is, even though I can see 20/10 now, I used to be able to see a bit better. I once saw a chart that went down to 20/05, and I could read it, barely. Never saw another one since, though.

Even though I see 20/10 now, I can tell that things aren't quite as sharp as they used to be. Like traffic signs....I can see a speed limit sign just fine, no problem reading it, but from a distance, the numbers aren't as clear as in the past.
I feel lucky, though. I'm 37 now, and at this rate, I'll probably still be around 20/20 when I'm old....unless the eyes really go south.

Astigmatism in both eyes too, but not sure how bad. Don't even know what my vision is when corrected. Maybe next time I get a check-up I'll ask the eye doctor to explain all that stuff to me.
