AncestryDNA. Took about three weeks was $69 its $99 now but it often goes down a couple times a year. Especially around mothers and fathers day.

Mom's side is Scottish, MacFarland. They lived in Ireland for awhile before coming to America. Father's side is English and German. I remember his parents only drove VWs (this is in Detroit no less) and their speech involved a lot of German.

I figured that was a given, what else could it be? All I need is some funds to claim my long lost inheritance and I will be happy to share the wealth with anyone who can assist with that. I will be sending some emails shortly as I believe that will be the most effective way to get the message out.
 
Grandma on Dad's side is an official Mayflower girl, so pure bastard WASP on that side. Other side is apparently German-Irish. which, well, more WASP.

Both sides settled in the inbred-south of NC & SC at least 5 generations ago and longer.
