whats your DURONS 800 voltage @?

Well so far im at the default voltage. 1.65 I think. (He he I just got this thing.)

My 800s @ 900 9.0X EDIT: ASUS temp reports 49c/120F

you guys think I can hit a GIG at the default voltage? or am I nutz

any ways whats you settings/specks

I doubt you will get far a default voltage most people get 900-950 at 1.85 volts

I am running my Duron 800 at 1000- stable as a rock and run 24/7 for a month now.

I have the cpu voltage set at 1.725.


It will run stably at 1.70, for good measure I have it at 1.725.

im have the stock heatsink with the Athlon classic 7000RPM fan. its keepin my duron at 49c/120F

my 700 duron wont let me go higher than 900 reliably 🙁

@ 8.5x100, the voltage requirements are a decent 1.725
for 9.0x100, i have to increase the voltage to 1.8 to get Prime95 to run without errors

the board i have (abit kt7) doesn't like any FSB settings above 110 - that requires me to up the Voltage from 3.3 to 3.5. i can set the RAM independently to 133.

considering this chip is less than a week old, do you think longer use of it would enable me to get a better overclock maybe a month or so down the line? looking at the chip in the week i've had it (running seti@home all night with the 850mhz speed and 46C full load cpu temp), i've seen that the inner cermaic of the chip has become darker and slightly shiny. is this good or bad? it seems to me like the heat is curing the chip, but it might be my dumb imagination.

any help would be nice 🙂

hum.. I think ill leave it be for a while than try something faster. This duron beats the $hit out of my Athlon Classic 800. that thing would not overclock worth a dam. evan with a GFD all it would do it 925 or so.
