^ nice custom intake manifold and dual IC setup  what turbo is that?

Thanks man, my welds aren't that great but I do like making stuff. Turbo is a Holsex HX 30, I normally run it at about 22psi or so. Never dynoed as I really don't care, stupid quick is still stupid quick without an actual number to give to bench racers.

Freakin nice... I wish I saw more of this kind of DIY custom work at car shows instead of people who put in $300,000 at a botique shop to do a West Coast Customs style restore on the body and interior, only to turn around and drop in the same shitty $5,000 catalog stock crate motor that everybody else does in every damn car out there.

i don't doubt it...i can't imagine how little that BMW weighs...kinda like stuffing a slightly modified K20 into a Honda CRX - 200whp and 2200 lbs = stupid fast. i think you'd like my brother's old BMW project (99 M Coupe w/ custom PT6262 turbo setup). unfortunately she was totaled and is no longer with us, may she R.I.P. :'(. there's a good build thread HERE. i don't think you need to be a logged in member to view pictures there...
