5.9L I-6 diesel. Numbers to follow maybe by next weekend. I might just edge out your torque numbers, exdeath 😛
No fricken way on the HP. I'd need some serious injectors and twins for that. Besides, the engine weighs about 975 lbs. Talk about pushing around an anchor!

6.0L L76

I voted on the 6.0+, didn't notice the one above it went to 6.0. That last option should of been 6.1+ or the one before it should of ended at 5.9.

EJ255 (light mods, sti turbo and flash, exhuast...ect) 2.5L
KA24DE (high comp build, using ka24e pistons, S13 cams...ect ect) 2.4L
VG30DETT (built bottom end and up, too much ti list, 600< rwhp) 3.0L

LOL WTF...i voted AND posted a response just yesterday i believe, and now my vote and post are nowhere to be found...OP, did you reset the poll/thread or something?

...anyways, 3.0L (2997cc) inline-6 twin turbo here...

here's a picture of the motor...in case you're wondering why everything's taken apart, i took this pic just after dropping the motor back in (had to remove it to get a full color change inside and out):

All these new engine pics are far too cramped. Can't work on them at all.

exdeath...

On Thursday I serviced an Excavator that had a 15.24 liter 6 cylinder diesel, sure it only produced 385hp but the TQ was up around 1800ftlbs... (max RPM was 1800) It was 16ft just to the bottom of cab floor had to climb up in 3 levels and it had a 3 section boom/stick with about 90'+ reach to off load barges of drilling mud from rigs in the Gulf...

Komatsu does make a reg crawler Excavator that weighs 744000lbs & has 3863HP and uses a bucket that can hold up to 48 yards of material... Who knows what the TQ is...? 😱

If you can see asphalt in your engine bay, you need a bigger engine 😛

Nah. Even though I would like to drop in a 351 Cleveland one day. Even with those or a 428 Cobra Jet there is still plenty of room in these older cars. But those engines alone are 9k+. It's so annoying trying to do anything but an oil change on a new car. Everything is cramped, and hidden. The simplicity of older cars makes me happy.
