Your time would be better spent with a beer in that rocking chair, than on the jeep. ;)

Hey, this is one RARE jeep.

And anyway, how many people can drive down the road in a rolling cartoon? ;)

I recently dusted off and started working on my 1966 Mustang fastback. It is a rather custom restomod project with a fuel injected 5 liter and lots of hidden electronics so the car appears rather period but upon real close scrutiny all the little gizmos start to present themselves. I still haven't totally decided upon the paint but I think it will more than likely be some combination of colors of my liking done in a Shelby theme with the stripes and all. I really want an "everyday Shelby" since I love the car so much and my original 1966 Shelby GT350H gets rather crappy gas mileage and really needs to be restored.....which will happen as soon as the fastback is driveable.

1)Writing a business plan at the moment trying to get a loan for an investment idea.
I can't see paying my accountant $$$$ to do it when i can do it on my own. Just have to do a lot of due diligence and research and visit City Hall and kiss a lot of commercial loan lender ass. lol

2)My other project that i want to start is learn Flash 6 by doing a little cartoon. My ideas for the flash cartoon are:

Truimph the insult comic dogs gettin pwned.. (run over or something)
Tom Ridge getting assaulted by one of the Queer Eye for the Straight Eye guys for the color choices of the defcon alerts. Any other ideas.. lol

3) I recently bought a 95 Pathfinder and need to install a stereo system into it that i haven't used in a while (a/d/s powerplate amps, Eclipse head units, EQ, Eclipse components).. I want to learn how to do that on my own

My top projects at the moment are:
learning Japanese
finishing up my 1337 HTPC/TV
watching all the hundreds of hours of anime I have on my dvd and on my pc

I'm always thinking of other stuff to do as well, I just never get around to it. These are the only 3 I've put any effort into lately.

If you need any SQL help, let me know.

I don't have time for personal projects or hobbies, so I'll have to stick to work stuff.

It's 11:30 pm on a Sunday night and I'm just finishing up about an 80 hour work week. In the past 7 days, I've been pretty much living in my office. Right now, I'm just about done with the coding on my current project. The first round of testing is supposed to begin tomorrow morning. My company is migrating to a new version of SAP worldwide on Feb. 14. We have an MS SQL Server system and numerous apps that we use locally at our plant. They are all linked to the corporate SAP system. The current way we communicate with SAP is no longer supported with the new version, so we've had to rewrite all of our stuff that communicates with SAP and it has to be coded, tested, and ready to launch Feb. 14.

Today I replaced the thermostat in my 92 Mustang. The one that came out was in 5 different pieces :Q. That was long overdue, as my car hasn't been heating up properly for quite some time now due to the thermo being stuck open :(.

While doing that, I noticed that my water pump wasn't flowing nearly what it should be, and my coolant temperature sensor reads about 20-30 degrees low. So, now I have to drain the cooling system again and replace those components while my friend's garage is free. Plus the car is a little overdue for an oil change, so add that too.

Current "project", so to speak, is loosing weight. I brought a nice elliptical machine two weeks and go and started excercising regularly (ie every day). So far its going good, I started out doing 25 mins a day on level 4 (out of 8) and over the past few days I moved up to 45mins on level 5. When I wieghed myself today, I found out I lost 5 pounds (in two weeks).

If I keep it up, I'll have no problem looking great in May :) It'll be the best thing I've ever done for myself :D

Getting married.

Date is in April, and well, a traditional Chinese wedding is hell to plan for.
Wedding dinner and invitation cards...

Not to mention getting the new apartment. OMG. this whole thing is virtually dominating my whole life.

I'm exploring the various quirks of Linux AMD64. Things just don't seem to work the way they're supposed to, it's like a paralell universe or something...
