$73.45 with tax. Always the same every month. $65 plan. I get
-200 daytime minutes
-Free evenings and weekends
-Unlimited text
-Voicemail or call display (I chose voicemail because I have a habit of not being near my phone when people call)
-500mb data

Boy, I just love living in the country that has the most expensive mobile in the developed world. Oh, that's on a 3yr contract too. 🙄

That is why I am on Mobilicity. For my use it is fine.

Poll is teh fail, my cell bill is between $160 and $170 but there is no option for that!

*head asplodes*

$168/month
2 lines w/5gb data plans each
950 minutes (or something like that, never use half of em anyway)
Insurance on one of the lines
Unlimited text/pic on both lines

Buuutt, I'm outta contract, go US Cellular!

450 min, unlimited text and data. $83 a month one phone. I use custom roms and kernels so I dont want to upgrade and loose unlimited data but would like a new phone. I may switch to an unlocked phone or metro PCs they have good service in my area.

I'm with Fido but I'm stuck on contract with them until October 2014. Never going on contract again, though the phones are so insanely expensive these days on their own. No way they're worth the $800 they charge.

$135 a month or $67.50 a person. Two smart phones on Verizon w/ 2 gig "share everything" plan. I gave up my unlimited data as I simply was not using much at all. I'm under wifi 99% of the time so it wasn't useful to me. Big Red is the only good reception where I live and I want a recent gen phone so Page Plus is out of the question for me.

Mobilicity has pretty poor phone choices since they get the shitty frequency. I get phones from the states.

I am on a windows phone. Can't wait til the AT&T exclusivity on the Nokia Lumia 920 ends, unlocked Lumia 920 would be my weapon of choice then.

As to apps, I have a Touchpad running CM9, I am fine

I think of it this way, 28.25 vs 73.45 a month = 45 a month of difference. 1 year is 540. 2 years is 1080.

humm, yeah. I can buy a 1000 dollar phone every two years and spend the same as you do, or not change phone and keep the cash.

Mind you, your usage might vary greatly from mine. I am fine with the service I get from Mobilicity, you might not be.

190 - ATT with discount
3x smart phones + 1x dumbphone - unlimited data and text, minutes (no clue, on some grandfathered rollover minutes that we never touch.

$15 monthly with no contract
- unlimited calls anywhere in Canada
- unlimited text (including picture text)
- voicemail and call display, call conferencing etc
- 2GB data <-- may seem like a small amount, but i hardly use any data, i'm usually on wifi. so im good with it.

This is my personal phone, not a work phone. While paying $0 is nice, but those people are expected to be using the phone for business purposes I'm sure.

$90 a month for two smartphones on Virgin Mobile (1200 minute a month plan). I usually stock up on the cards at Target with my red card when they are on sale, so it is really like $82 per month.

$21 per month with Ting. Most of my data use is via WiFi, so I don't need a big data plan. If I need an unusual amount of data, I'm not shut off when I pass the amount I paid for. They'll just bill me the difference next month.

Ting rocks.

That's actually quite decent. I don't even have call display or voice mail on mine and I pay 25 bucks and that's after my discount (I work for the phone company). If I want data I'm paying at least 50/mo, and the cap is 100MB, completely pointless.

$13. I have pay as you go and get free phone calls and SMS to people on the same network. Not using any data though. I think it only included 1/2 GB per month.

120 taxes included. Two lines unlimited data per line unlimited text and 1000 minutes. Data speed gets capped after 5gb but still unlimited. Tethering is also included on both phones. Tmobile.

119 with taxes
tmobile value plan
5 lines, unlimited talk/text
1 line with true unlimited data
can add/remove data plans on other lines at will for when those family members are in the country. $10 for 2gb.

That sucks. I work for a telco as well, really can't complain about the deal. They charge a lot if you go over the data limit, but it's never been an issue for me. If it was much more expensive, I'd probably just go with something like Public Mobile (starts at $19/mo for unlimited province-wide calling).
