What's your blood pressure?

well, i've actually had my blood pressure checked several times over the past 3 months:

May: 130/70 (still at my miserable job)
June: 110/60 (just quit my miserable job)
July: 90/50 (just be chillin and exercising)

*edit* spelinng

114/72 (took it myself). Normally, many doctors will start medication if the top is over 130 or under 90 or the bottom over 90 or under 60(IIRC)

I had a recent checkup lately, and at first my blood pressure was 96/50. The nurse who was taking my pressure freaked out at that number. So, she took it again and now my blood pressure is 104/80 with a pulse of 71.

Go go weight loss! I've lost 68 pounds and never been better 🙂

I weight 240 with the same rates you had!!! Currently walking 30 minutes a night to loose it now though. After 2 weeks ive lost 8 pounds at least. 🙂

Great work! Keep it up! I started eating better (more protein, less carbs/sugars), cut out soda (water drinker now) and did walking/treadmill/cycling 40 minutes at LEAST 3 times per week. I lost 40lbs in 6 months and my blood pressure results were DRAMATIC. I also had bad cholesterol (sp?) numbers as well - they improved so much that I even surprised my doctor.

Don't stop what you have started - they end result is worth the effort!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

ME BEFORE

ME AFTER

Wow, uh.. your before pic looks *EXACTLY* like your avatar. 😕

That is scary.

I got mine checked the other day, it's 116/67, and my pulse is 53

It's higher than the last time I got it checked, it was 98/59.

I'm not a doctor, I don't know what it all means, except for the pulse.

What's yours?

A fellow Almost-Dead ATer! 😀

BP was 98/58 last check, and my pulse is around 55. Nosedives to mid 30s (as measured by fiancee) when I'm asleep. :Q

Do you suffer from low blood pressure? That seems freakishly low.

Just been in hospital for 10 days and they were doing obs 3 times a day. Settled at around 110/65-70 after 5 units of blood to plug my bleeding spleen...

YIKES(!)

Hope you are OK now! What happened??

Glandular fever caused spontaneous popping of the inner part of my spleen. Was bleeding into the outer sack and threatening to rupture. Luckily it didn't and I still have my spleen.

I'm got out on Monday and I'm signed of work till the 25th at the very least!

Maximum suckage!

just went to the doctors yesterday as a matter of fact...70/120....perfect pretty much..

i would worry if that was my BP.
:Q

Same here.

Bear in mind that your BP varies from minute to minute and hour to hour so quoting one BP is meaningless.
