she eats so much junk food but she stays thin and never gains a pound, while i'm at the gym two hours a day burning off a chipotle burrito i felt bad about eating

the gym is to increase muscle mass...not necassarily burn calories.

if you do a lot of running or the like (cardiovascular activity type thing) then you'll end up burning more calries 😉

you do know gyms have cardio equipment right. and you do know lifting weights helps build up your muscles to burn more calories when you're on that cardio equipment right.

geez i'm not looking for a fitness lesson. my weight and fitness level are perfectly healthy. just stinks that the gf doesn't have to cut out all the good stuff like i did to maintain myself.
