ok u get an est. 3-5fps increase with the e6850 over the q6600 but can you REALLY tell the difference in gaming between the two. i doubt it. but you CAN tell the difference between running multiple programs and multiple multi threaded applications

oh and the does the tt armor still have horrible quality steel inside thats sharp and would cut your hands while u work in it if you're not 200% careful

i know my lian li v1000 plus case has rounded edges with rubber guards around them to ensure that my hands and wires stay safe. how about that paint job on the outside? would it scratch if u accidentally knocked it against a sharp edge? i've dropped a printer on my v1000 case and its still scratchless after 2 years

yea, I hear you Louissss, thanks for the ideas. As far as case goes, I am trying to get something visually pleasing, I have moved on the the Mirror Antec 192. Maybe i will get the q6600 since I will be running two monitors and playing games on one and apps on the other. How easy would the Q6600 be to OC to 3.0 with the Asus p5k-e WiFi?

Vista won't see 4 gig in 32 bit, that is true. But it will see greater than 2 in almost all situations. The rules are not simple. However, in my build with Vista Home Premium 32, gigabyte ga-p35-dq6, evga geforce gts 640 mb, and 4 megs of corsair memory in 4x1gig chunks, vista does report seeing and using 3.5 gig.

Based on what I read, and my own experience, I would not hesitate to get 4 gig now for Vista. It's cheap, and you can get 4 matched modules easily.

It was suggested to me that I install 2 gig on build, then add 2 gig after Vista loaded and operational. That is what I did. Not sure if it made a difference, but as you see Vista now reports well over 3 gig ready for use.

Hope this didn't get to you too late.
