What's wrong with my LCD monitor?

Alright, so when I run anything other than my native resolution something like this happens in every game all the time..

Right around the middle of the picture there is a large blue streak down the middle. It's like a line and although this is not a good picture at all, it still is a noticeable streak. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

I've only had this monitor since September and I bought it at Circuit City.

What do I do now?

Bring it back to Circuit City today for a replacement.

Don't screw around asking how to fix it.
Just return, it should have a one year warranty.

Damn thing automatically abbreviated it for me - I put in the original full thing - sorry. Anyways I'll bring it back and ask for a replacement. I didn't do the extended warranty but hopefully this still goes well.
