Anyone have any idea whats wrong with my CPU...??

I have no real programs running in the task manager... Just some very basic stuff.

The Temp is really bouncing around. My PC also just shuts down randomly and its been happening for about 7 months now. This is the first time I have observed this CPU temp behavior... Maybe I need to remove my after market air cooler and reapply thermal paste? I have never done any overclocking.

CPU temps look fine.. Could be power supply, or some board settings causing it to run too hot & shut down.

Temps are fine. Your CPU will run at 95c all day long without problems. I'd guess something else is flakey, perhaps your RAM. Download and run Memtest86+, I prefer the version that fits on a flash drive:

I'd guess the problem is your power supply. I had a system that would shut down when all four cores were fully loaded. Turns out, it was the power supply. I replaced it and never had another issue.

I thought so as well... That is why I replaced the PSU with a brand new one... and I still got the completely random shut downs... I also did a RMA on my Mother board. I bought a pretty nice corsair. Not a cheap one. Its the HX750. It replaced a TX850 which I believe was fine. Corsair even sent me a brand new TX850, but I ended up selling it.

the only thing left is CPU or Memory. I may buy some new RAM. If that does not fix it, Im selling it all on ebay and buying a Haswell set up!

Do NOT download CoreTemp! I installed this garbage last night, and had to clean an infection due to malware (YTDownloader, iWebar, etc) that gets installed alongside.

Don't click the main download link. Click "more downloads", then two new links, one for 32-bit, and one for 64-bit, pop up. Those links are just .zip files, which you have to extract and install somewhere yourself. Thought that was common knowledge.

I'd never used CoreTemp until last night, so it wasn't common knowledge to me, and to be honest I don't see what it provides that other programs (eg, HWMonitor, CPU-Z) don't provide. Besides, you Burpo didn't give a warning with the link, so how do you know fschris wouldn't have gotten infected?

This is only a casual opinion, since I'm "in between builds" at the moment.

Suppose my experience with the previous one still displays common sense.

With that, I'd come to the conclusion long ago that HWMonitor or the (paid software) AIDA-64 show the same temperatures as RealTemp or CoreTemp. And I usually update the former software when I'm building and tuning a new computer. I may also download and use the latter, but just to verify the others.

I'd go with the recommendation to put the processor back to its stock settings and continue to watch it.

You may also want to take inventory of your software -- processes and services. See how they cause increase in processor usage which might be associated with the temperatures.

I had discovered a situation with one of my machines in which the "Performance" tab of TM would show one core consistently loading up (>= 90%) with the rest at idle and no apparent activity from other software. I eventually discovered that it was due to "DPCs and Interrupts" -- which would show in "Resource Monitor." Use of a latency-checking program indicated a likely conflict between two or more drivers, including the AHCI SATA driver.

I didn't notice a significant increase in the particular core's temperature, though, and can't be sure whether my thoughts would apply here. But I'd consider all these possibilities in addition to the heatsink mounting, power supply, etc.
