May be taking a trip up there in next few months and wondered if anyone had any recommedations?

Anyone live there or visited in past ?
 
Acadia National Park is nice. A bit crowded, but definately better than the other big park of the east in the Smokey Mountains. I remember the last time i visited there was a manhunt going on for an escaped murderer or something, so it added some excitement to the vacation.
 
lobster... they have a festival, i just don't know when...

anyway, it's nature =) that's the attraction of maine.
 
Maine is a beautiful state. The differences between low and high tide are amazing in some places too. We have a summer home in Bah Hahbah <Bar Harbor for you non-new englanders>.
