I somewhat agree. Reminds me of the "I love to travel" people. I don't want to go on vacation and have to walk around all fucking day and exert more energy than I would if I was actually at work.

Staycation = what it would be like if I won the lottery and was tired of traveling. Eat out all the time, go to the bar anytime I feel like it, go see a movie, do what I like when I want to do it. Don't worry about going to work, no need to. Spend all the money I want for a week to have fun. No cares, no worries...for a week that is.

The only way I could expend less energy than work would be if I was in a coma. For me vacation needs to be different than work, which means some level of physical activity.

In New Orleans, the locals are encouraged to take Slay-Cations

?We want New Orleanians, as they travel this great country, to kill someone in another city, perhaps focusing on other high-crime cities
such as Houston or Memphis, to push their murder ranks higher and make us look better?

A vacation is just a respite .. who says you need to go anywhere to have a break? Sometimes, I prefer just staying home for a few days and doing next to nothing. Sometimes, going somewhere requires more effort that I want to expend for a "vacation."
