what's with this "staycation" stuff?

If you stay home, you are not, nor ever will be, on vacation. You will still be taking care of the day to day stuff like you are... home!

It cuts out travel costs.

Just because you are still staying in your own home doesn't mean you can't go out and do vacation like activities in your area.

if i go to the jersey shore for a weekend and stay at a hotel/rented house...thats a staycation. if i go to FL for a week and stay at a hotel/rented house thats a vacation

"staycation" is still a better term than "funployment"
