What's with this guy?

I wanted to grab that CPU, but then I noticed that the seller had a ton of "DOA" feedbacks. Like almost half of them said "Item was DOA, but refund was little hassle"

Is he scamming people by charging $12 shipping? That seems kind of a waste of time. Or are lots of buyers just idiots that don't know how to configure their AXP-Mobiles?

I asked him why so many DOAs, and he said "none of your business. get a life".

Wow, not very friendly.

This is the third 2200+ M that I've seen him sell. I'm missing something, here. What gives?

Maybe he is one of those people who doesn't package his stuff properly. In any case, I wouldn't mess with his items.

After getting a response like that I wouldn't even consider buying from that seller.

Two of the feedbacks commented saying "well packaged" If the price is right id go for it since hes got no negatives, but since he was rude to you id message him back saying "get bent" and find another athlon XP-M

Some people come off really defensive. I commented on someone charging $40 on shipping their motherboard, I think it was, and they replied back saying something like (I think it was in caps)...You don't have to look at the auction or bid on it!
Seems I called them on their ripping people off on shipping.

:p

There was one nut a while ago selling a 74 Raptor for $10, with $130 shipping. The questions at the bottom regarding that were rather funny. :D

His logic is rather good. Why let the Ebay and paypal crooks get any more of your money than necessary. Their fees don't apply to shipping. When I sell, I am not that extreme but always try to make shipping high with the product price low. Total price is what matters anyway....

There are some crazy people on eBay. I used to use it, but the FS/FT forums here are so much more personal and friendly. And cheaper on the whole.

"The item has been taken away from upgraded computers. Due the fact that we have not tested all our items individually, the item is DOA GURANTEED."

Just to be devils advocate. If someone wrote to me asking why (fill in the blank, something about my business) my response would be the same. None of your business. They are not asking about this particular auction, or anything specific about an item, condition, shipping, etc.

They are asking about my business practices and implying that there is something wrong, or unethical, or fraudulant. This guy might be a theif but I see nothing wrong with his response.
