What's with these SUVs that have "Baby on Board" stickers?

Do they think it works? If I'm going to get into an accident, I sure as hell won't see that sticker milliseconds before I ram into them at 40mph.

That is, given the big assumption that I care at all about their baby.

How about [insert any sticker here] stickers? What's the point of that?

so youre assuming you will be the one causing the accident? what about saying "i sure as hell wont see that sticker ass they are ramming into me"? i dont see the need to advertise that there is a baby on board, people in general arent going to change the way they are driving just because the car in front of them has a sticker that states theres a kid in there.

i had a friend in HS back when the baby on board things came out that thought it would be funny to punk out a baby doll and nail it to a 1X6 board. he put that in his back window and let the hilarity ensue. women pretty much everywhere he went would verbally accost him for it, despite it giving the same message as their yellow sign they displayed in their windows. i cracked up every time.

Shens, most SUVs do not have anybody other than their idiot driver on board.

generalize much?

heres one for ya...

those idiots on bikes always run through red lights and ride in the middle of the lane, despite the speed limit being 45. get off the damn road, you pedal monster in spandex!

Hahaha. Idiot bike riders.

BTW, those stickers (on any vehicle) are there so you know why they're driving more careful / slower than your typical I'm-in-a-rush maniac behind the wheel.

I think they need some for senior citizens too. Jules, what do you use on your Maxima? Or the obnoxious WRX or gas-guzzling Rodeo SUV you had before? Oh the irony of Jules...

I like to scream at people with those stickers, while throwing used condoms at their passenger windows. Keep a stack of fresh used ones in the ashtray just in case.

Maybe if you hit the bike-rider at the correct angle you can launch him onto the hood. I wonder if you could then use the HOV lane?

Am I going to hell for picturing a car with a bicyclist holding onto the hood and the driver just calmly driving down the freeway, and laughing about it?

you would never need them anyway.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they don't put these on their windows in order to actually warn people of something...

I thought they were so that in the event of an accident, people would know to look for a baby.

That was actually why the fad died. Emergency workers were spending too much time looking for babies that weren't in the car.

I don't know... but I would have sort of appreciated having one the day I brought my son home from the hospital. I think I drove 15-20mph under the speed limit, and the sign would have at least let people know why I was driving like such a moron 😉

Yea. You kinda messed up based on instinct. Statistically, going slow is not safe. Repeat, going slow will increase your chances of being in an accident. It is the same as speeding. You got to stick with the flow of traffic to minimize collision rates.

the streamers and window paint all over my car that said "its a girl!" pretty much told people that i had a baby in my car. my friends decided my montego needed some sort of party for the occasion. i still drove the limit however.
