Seriously, it's my own damn last name too. I've never though to wonder why we Vietnamese are so unoriginal.

Are you serious? Do any of your friends parents make up their own last name? Think about it...

My favorite name is Phuc (pronounced fook), in fact, there's a guy named Phuc Yu in one of my classes.

lol

That is the coolest name evar. I'm serious.

I had a Vietnamese friend in high school whose last name was Nguyen. It was the weirdest, coolest sounding thing when she pronounced her name in Vietnamese.

Whats funny is that hardly anyone said racist this or racist that...Now what if instead of Ngyuen, it was some "black" sounding name... just a thought...

btw I think that its cool that all the Nguyen's in here aren't going crazy with people saying Phat Phuc and what not.

You know, i always wondered what the situation would be like if someone was named Phuc in one of my classes.. back when teachers called roll. It finally happened 11th grade... my precal teacher... he just kinda looked at it strangely (he was a funny character, awesome teacher) and just said "fook"

i always thought it'd be hilarious if a teacher was quickly naming off names and just said f.. in class. yeah yeah, i know the kid would get crap for his name. Hell, i figured i'd get crap cause my first name is linh... surprisingly, most kids were mature about it... or at least didn't make fun of me in front of my face 😛

That girl looks at least 16, but in some Vietnamese case she could be close to 30 years old.
I'm 35 years old and people around me think that I look like a 22~23 years old. What worst is being hit on by high school girls that think that I look like a 18~19 years old guy.

Getting hit on by younger women and this is a bad thing ??

Wheres the love for all the Trans in the house ??
