What's With All The Commercials Before Movies Now?!

I'm use to watching movie previews before a movie, perfectly fine. Actually that's part of the fun...

These days.. there's about a good 10 minutes of commercial.. things like Sprite Remix, Starburst, Levi Jeans, Cars.... Then ofcoarse another 10 minutes of movie previews...

Can something be done about this?

stop going to those theaters. the amc's near me do that and it just pisses me off. i'm anti amc now. their theaters suck anyhow. century doesn't chuck ads at you.
 
Bloody obnoxious is what it is. When I go to the movies I want to see a movie, not a bunch of commercials and previews I don't care about. And the MPAA wonders what people pirate movies. Aside from them being cheap asses, they don't like being baraged with a bunch of ads for garbage.
 
If the movies were free to attend, fine. But I'm paying $8, I don't want to see a fvcking ad! :|

edit: or any sort of product placement within the movie for that matter
 
what can we do! WHAT CAN WE DO?! because this also pisses me off to no end. if i wanted commericals i'd watch TV at home

that doesn't make sense at all. those people are just cheap. i've never seen a coke commercial on a dvd.
 
i know a lawsuit have been filled trying to force the movie theaters to actually post the time the movie will actually start, not sure how the case is going
 
it is that stupid "2wenty" shiat. its so annoying, it really makes me not want to go to movies early... but you still have to get a seat sometimes...
