What's up with UPS???

I just had a packaged shipped to me in Ohio from California via UPS ground. Now I ship stuff out of my business via UPS everyday at work and from Ohio to California is 4 working days. However I just check the status and it's going to take 5 business days to get to me!! What's up with that? I went the the UPS site and then to the transit times and sure enough:

From zip code 44216 (me) to 94539 (CA) is 4 working days

From zip code 94539 (CA) to 44216 (me) is 5 working days

UPS sucks!!

I got a package shipped from China in 2 days... UPS is working just fine for me

I really don't have a problem with it taking 5 days..but how come I can send it from Ohio and get it there in 4 days, but for them to send it to me takes 5 days!! Won't the package take the same route?
